The Woolpack is situated on the edge of the New Forest and a stones throw away from Bournemouth, on the banks of the river Avon in the picturesque village of Sopley.

Local Walks
The Avon valley walk is over 30 miles that reach from Salisbury to Christchurch running through farmers fields and river banks. The river Avon is teaming with wildlife and thought to contain more species of fish than any other British river. The walk stretches straight past the Woolpack and is popular for a brief stop off for lunch. Muddy boots and dogs welcome!
